Hailing from Warsaw, Poland, designer Michal Lojewski founded UEG – an abbreviation of “USA R GETTA,” an Italian phrase translating to “use and discard” – in 2004, offering avant-garde menswear backed by a high-concept manifesto of attaining simplicity and love through uniformity, utility, and a spirit of seizing the day. A stark monochromatic profile detailed with bold-yet-minimalist symbolism pushes UEG beyond the classic cuts of its basic pieces, offering long-sleeve and short-sleeve tees, hoodies, trousers and jackets that act as commentaries on consumer self-awareness.
