London-based menswear label, St-Henri, the creative conception of Montreal-born designer, Jean-Loup Leblanc Roy, was launched in 2017. Through a concise range of modern ready-to-wear staples, the designer reinvigorates traditional Western cuts with subtle nods to baseball and 90's hip hop, in a panoply of countercultures that seamlessly unite past and present zeitgeists. Muted separates in beige, grey, white, black or navy, echo his understated minimalist vision, while graphic t-shirts featuring pop culture references and eye-catching slogans allude to his free-spirited sentiments. In contrast, functional wardrobe essentials including oversized button-downs and hand-painted poplin shirting are paired with slim-fit trousers, utility shorts, and workwear jackets, balancing a nonconformist attitude with laid-back sophistication.
