In 2010, Stockholm-based designer Alexander Stutterheim came across his grandfather’s old raincoat and was inspired to create a new generation of simple, functional classics based on its design. With his dedication to foul weather apparel came a refreshing philosophy: rather than fight the melancholy inherent to darkness and rain, Stutterheim advocates embracing it as an essential part of the human experience. Head of Design Patric Wallertz continues to build upon the label’s repertoire with coats that remain true to the timeless minimalism of the original ‘Stockholm’ model. Crafted in waterproof rubberized cotton, they blend seamlessly into the modern man’s wardrobe -- whether he finds himself walking through the heart of the city, or in deep contemplation by the edge of a stormy sea.
