Martin Asbjorn

Audaciously eschewing the conventions of archetypically minimalist Scandinavian design, Danish fashion designer Martin Asbjørn finds boundless inspiration in the mischievous and care-free spirit of his 1990’s upbringing. Shortly after graduating from The Design and Technical Tailoring Academy, he established his eponymous luxury menswear label in 2014. Asbjørn has shown–with inimitable eloquence– an ability to steer away from tradition with playfully sophisticated iterations of menswear staples. Across seasons, Asbjørn merges classic tailoring with leisurewear silhouettes to reinvigorate the modern man’s everyday wardrobe. Rendered in pastel colorways and loose fits, open collar shirts, athletic shorts, campy calligraphy logo t-shirts, lush knitwear, and exquisitely cut trousers enjoy a reawakening. While Asbjørn considers his designs an open canvas for the light-hearted, confident man to explore and express himself, he crafts his casualwear pieces to endure trends and side-step the sensationalism of the fashion cycle.
