De Bonne Facture JACKETS & COATS

Named after the French expression for “doing things well,” contemporary menswear label De Bonne Facture aims to revive traditional expertise. Founding designer Déborah Sitbon Neuberg gives as much scope to each garment’s provenance and method of manufacture as to its design, working in close contact with European ateliers in regions with rich histories of weaving, knitting, or tailoring. Additionally, for transparency, each item is tagged with the details of where it was made. De Bonne Facture’s carefully considered selection features Shetland wool sweaters, Belgian washed-linen sport jackets, and Japanese organic cotton poplin shirts. Finely wrought and made to last, De Bonne Facture clothes are designed to gain character with wear over time.
