Born from the gritty irreverence of the South London skateboarding scene, Palace is the brainchild of skate rat and designer Lev Tanju. Originally founded as a skate team in 2010, Palace has grown into a fully-fledged skateboarding company and streetwear phenomenon, touting a range of sought-after apparel and collaborations with sportswear brands adidas, Reebok, and Umbro. The label’s gear is designed both for and by riders; Tanju and his crew of skater-creatives split their time between skating the streets of Southbank and sketching graphics for the label’s highly coveted t-shirts. Referencing nineties street fashion and British subcultures, the brand’s nostalgic menswear line includes performance jackets, caps, and t-shirts emblazoned with the label’s iconic “Tri-Ferg” logo.
