남성 Mr. Saturday 가디건 컬렉션
From ‘60s psychedelia to ‘90s rave euphoria, designer Joey Gollish traces links between subcultures and established norms. With Mr. Saturday, double entendre and postmodern pastiche undermine classic styles and conventional silhouettes. A preppy ecru cardigan is the picture of American innocence, but the words Good Luck—knit into the left breast—sarcastically fracture the wholesome facade. A muted knit crewneck unexpectedly centers a Grim Reaper graphic, a reference to a subcultural pamphlet from ‘70s New York. Varsity bombers, hoodies, and faded denims feature iconography borrowed from the bygone Mudd Club. Mr. Saturday’s irreverent aesthetic reveals the creative potency of nostalgia, drawing from the past to destabilize our understanding of the present. From ‘60s psychedelia to ‘90s rave euphoria, designer Joey Gollish traces links between subcultures and established norms. 더 보기
