Stockholm, Sweden-based designer Anders Haal launched his namesake line in 2013, after previously designing at Ann-Sophie Back Atelje. The HAAL aesthetic is referential and irreverent in the manner of Andy Warhol: reclaiming and reworking iconic imagery with an iconoclastic flare, applied to a range of casual men’s streetwear and innovative eyewear. Sunglasses rendered in retro-futuristic designs boast timeless, classic shapes with novel accents, from prismatic trompe-l’oeil effects to otherworldly exaggerations of conventional forms.
