Launched in 2021 under the umbrella of ISAE, UMBER POSTPAST is steeped in South Korea’s rich heritage of textile craft. Helmed by Sungmin “Jaden” Cho, the Seoul-based brand juxtaposes the ancient with the contemporary in its modern-classic designs that uphold the nation’s artisanal legacy. Rich, plant-dyed color palettes, tessellated quilting treatments, and crinkled silk taffetas appear throughout the label’s collections as a nod to nature’s subtle geometry.
