Nike Jordan

In 1984 Nike signed a deal to create a signature sneaker with a young basketball player, a relative newcomer to the NBA at the time, by the name of Michael Jordan. In 1985 the Air Jordan 1’s dropped, and despite the sneakers not conforming to the NBA’s stringent uniform policy (and incurring hefty fines each time they were worn on the court) Michael Jordan rocked them until his eventual nomination as Rookie of the Year later that season. Flash forward to the present: both the man and the shoe that bears his name are beloved icons with countless wins behind them. Jordan now exists as a label in its own right, producing a range of athleisure to accompany and complement its signature sneaker line. Branded caps, socks, and beanies round out the accessories offering. While lounge pants, hoodies, jackets, and t-shirts emblazoned with the seminal Jumpman logo maintain a sense of this victorious legacy: of clothing that defiantly transcends the court for which it was designed. Named for a champion, Nike Jordan celebrates this heritage in its tasteful and constantly inventive reimaginings of sports apparel classics.
