Founded in 2010 by jewelry designer Yuta Ishihara, Tokyo-based Shihara gives movement and dimension to classic shapes, envisioning jewelry as foreign objects that become part of the wearer over time. Shihara’s creations seem to have no beginning or end; minimal rings, delicate necklaces, and geometric earrings are free of visible clasps or closures, instead incorporating functional features into the overall design. The line is made entirely in Japan using predominantly 18k yellow gold and diamonds finished with clean, delicate textures.
