Dentro lives and breathes a behind-the-scenes philosophy. Founded in 2020 by Brazilian-born designer Isa Kauffman—whose experience in the accessories department includes stints at Prada, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and Acne Studios—the atelier crafts leather purses in sizes and shapes that range from structured mini handbags to slouchy oversized shoppers. Designed in France and made in Italy, the accessories proudly display their structure, with exposed seams and runaway threads that float through the air as a wayward celebration of artisan labor. With a name that means “inside” in Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish alike, Dentro inverts the classic accessory, turning the process into the product.
