Thai-born Strong Theveethivarak launched his namesake label STRONGTHE in 2019, crafting newfangled ready-to-wear inspired by his native country’s history and culture. With influences ranging from Thai spiritual traditions to Bangkok’s colossal shopping centers, the London-based label’s experimental collections of artfully tailored garments comprise an artful patchwork of silhouettes and styles. Pieces like plaid pants with pointed hems and long-sleeved tops with beaded accouterments emerge alongside fitted jackets, oversized scarves, and crossbody bags detailed with the label’s signature knotting technique.
