Established in 2017, Tokyo-based TAAKK celebrates the unique vision of award-winning designer Takuya Morikawa, who launched the line after an eight-year tenure at ISSEY MIYAKE. Luxury, innovation, and cool cachet collide in the label’s menswear, which is defined by retro-futuristic silhouettes, rich colorways, and a pioneering use of custom-developed fabrics. Delicate army-style button-ups and trousers are crafted in fine crepe weaves, while distressed denim jeans and jackets are jacquard-woven in a pattern made from the data of other fading denim.
