Stone Island is steeped in history while staying at the forefront of technical innovation and garment construction. The Heritage Camo collection is no exception. Stone Island FW22 explores the techniques and aesthetics of handcrafted creations, revisiting, updating, and adapting them for a neoluxe sportswear collection with clean lines, detailed functionality, and extensive references to the famous Stone Island archive housed in Ravarino, Italy. Forty years since it was founded, the archive remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration and a starting point for evolution.
Take the FW22 Heritage Camo Field Jacket. It’s made in a nylon ripstop printed with the archival pattern of the lauded Ice Jacket camouflage from the ‘90s. All the shades present in the three color variants of the time are recombined to obtain two new versions with vertical or diagonal shading. Even the buttons and metal hooks have archive references, reviewed and redesigned. Future friendly, this collection utilizes PFC-free antidrop technology, and ECONYL® regenerated yarns for the detachable lining made in Nylon Metal.
Drawing from the supreme ingenuity of this collection, 3D artist Kevin O’Neill developed a character inspired by the core functionality of camouflage. Lenses and Petri dishes evoke a microscope, gesturing to the way this pattern takes in observational data from its environment in order to blend in. Zoom in on Stone Island FW22.

LOOK 2 FEATURING: S.I. HERITAGE CAMO RIPSTOP NYLON OVERALLS made of a slightly slub weave ripstop both in the weft and warp, composed of mechanically spun nylon fibres. In the spinning process, the nylon filaments are steamed for a perception closer to organic fibres.
LOOK 3 FEATURING: S.I. HERITAGE CAMO RIPSTOP NYLON WATRO HOODED JACKET Light internal resin coating. Treated with a specific PFC free anti-drop agent.
LOOK 4 FEAUTURING: S.I. HERITAGE CAMO RIPSTOP NYLON DOWN JACKET made in a nylon ripstop printed with the revisited archival pattern of the Ice Jacket Camouflage ‘90. Filled with premium feathers. Treated with a specific PFC free anti-drop agent.

HERITAGE CAMO RIPSTOP NYLON WATRO BACKPACK made in a nylon ripstop printed with the revisited archival printing pattern of the Ice Jacket Camouflage ‘90. Backpack includes top rolling closure, fastened by flap with thick nylon tape and adjustable snaps on the Velcro band, internal snaps. Front embroidery of the Stone Island Compass logo. External pocket above the thick nylon mesh back, with horizontal zip fastening. Adjustable thick nylon tape shoulder straps.
