Fiona Afshar also known as @cookingwithfiona has an eye for pasta like no other. The Malibu-based chef utilizes sourdough for its health benefits—lower pH level and easier to digest than traditional flour—creating colorful designs that look more like fashion than pasta and are adored by her 100k+ Instagram followers. Her Instagram account chronicles her daily pasta designs, from vivid green florals and yellow stripes on pillowy ravioli, to octopus tentacle-reminiscent strozzapreti noodles tossed in pistachio pesto sauce. We asked her to apply her pastavision to a selection of FW21 styles. Munch on this!

Making pasta is a highly intuitive exercise. Every noodle takes shape a little differently, the same way no two Sterling Ruby garments are alike. A tip from Fiona: Embrace the process!

Behold, the ultimate Italian fashion house in brilliant pasta form. Strega Nona approved.
