Milan-based VITELLI has been at the vanguard of contemporary knitwear since its inception in 2016, blending classic Italian artisanship with the social ethos and vibrant aesthetic of a young generation. Designer Mauro Simionato and his team work in partnership with small, family-owned factories in the Veneto region to develop the label’s innovative fabric, felted entirely of regenerated yarns and production leftovers. VITELLI’s zero-waste garments are handmade in house, with each unique piece taking on the quality of a work of art. The label’s staples include elongated sweaters, slack trousers, and gauzy dresses contorted into surreal shapes and forged in a psychedelic palette influenced by the Italian club scene of the ’80s.
