Dolce&Gabbana
Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana first met in Milan in 1980. Five years later, they released their inaugural women’s collection and quickly gained renown for flattering, daring designs that gave traditionally ladylike styles doses of cheeky confidence and timeless sex appeal. Inspired by Italian cinema and Dolce’s Sicilian roots, the designers continue to present a vision of Mediterranean elegance founded on textile and silhouette contrasts, impeccable tailoring, and a celebration of refined, everyday living. Traditional yet modern, Dolce&Gabbana’s designs and objects bring together Italian aesthetic values with an appreciation for contemporary luxury. Known for working with lavish materials, colorful patterns and animal prints, and iconoclastic art world references, Dolce&Gabbana continue to define and refine chic sensualism.Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana first met in Milan in 1980.
