MINJUKIM CLOTHING
Seoul-based designer Minju Kim realizes charmed fantasies through her eponymous line’s playfully daring womenswear. A shortlisted winner of the LVMH Prize and the inaugural winner of Netflix’s reality TV competition “Next in Fashion,” Kim has expanded her vision of avant-garde couture with MINJUKIM since 2015. The brand visits distinct concepts and narratives with each collection, evoking joyful fantastical worlds or hinting at global sociopolitical issues. Cheerful silhouettes such as silk wool dresses and printed suits come with drapes, tulle overlays, exaggerated puff sleeves, and tiered ruffles. Bolstered by a dream-like imagination and technical audacity, MINJUKIM dwells in its own world of fairy tales.
