Venice-based design studio KANZ Architetti was founded in 2014 by architects Antonella Maione and Mauro Cazzaro. With a practice ranging from residential architecture to product design, the team behind the studio —and its progeny, the KANZ homeware line, launched in 2016—approaches their craft philosophically, investigating the potential of materials, and the narratives behind techniques. By working with local artisans, the studio fosters interaction between its experimental design process and heritage craftsmanship, yielding dynamic objects of uncompromising quality. Delicately twisted, or tinted in bold hues, the brand’s glass vases, candle vessels, and incense holders are at once sculptural and fluid. KANZ channels the rich history of Italian design into kinetic, ultra-modern homeware.
