BARRAGÁN
After gaining favor on Tumblr for his early graphic T-shirt designs, Mexican designer Victor Barragán moved to New York where he debuted BARRAGÁN in 2016. By 2019, the namesake brand had already earned a nomination for Vogue and the CFDA’s prestigious Fashion Fund award. The label’s wardrobe is defined by its sassy and high-octane style, featuring casualwear like cutout muscle tees, camo cargo pants, and tops with wry, internet-inspired phrases. Embedding the contemporary zeitgeist into neatly constructed ready-to-wear, BARRAGÁN shrugs off industry etiquettes and allows authenticity to flourish.
