Led by founders Antoine Asselin and Phil Lavoie, Montreal-based collective Dime continues to build its cult following with skate-inspired streetwear. What began as a teenage skateboard crew circa 2005 has since expanded into a multi-faceted lifestyle brand dripping with youthful irreverence. Drawing upon a mutual passion for skate culture, nostalgic ‘90s hip hop, and street art, Dime reworks quintessential skatewear staples with tongue-in-cheek satirical graphics. Delivered in familiar silhouettes and relaxed fits, classic hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, and paneled caps bearing the label’s embroidered logo nod to those in the know, while cut-and-sew separates including bomber jackets and chino trousers showcase an artful design sensibility. Never straying far from its origins, Dime continues to push its design vision forward while maintaining its “humor-first, skating-second” mentality.
