Daniel Cavey DRINKING GLASSES

American sculptor and ceramist Daniel Cavey moved to Tuscany in 2002, where he honed his skill producing large-scale terracotta sculptures for Italian gardens. With his namesake line, Cavey translates his artistic practice into experimental sculptures and functional homeware vessels inspired by everything from the organic forms of the natural world to the animalistic motifs found in pre-Columbian pottery. Each original piece in the label’s collection—filled with bulbous and multimouthed vases and clusters of lidded jars bonded together—is handmade by the artist in his Northern Italy studio. Reimagining the utilitarian object through creative expression, Daniel Cavey crafts original ceramic goods that infuse the modern home with artistic soul.
