Ottolinger TOPS

Avant-garde darling Ottolinger is the brainchild of Swiss designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient. Launched in 2015, the directional label formed after the pair met at the Basel School of Design. Now based in Berlin, Ottolinger’s raw, subversive aesthetic has garnered industry-wide attention. Across the collection, immaculately finished products are intentionally slashed, burned, and manipulated into unconventional forms. Where jeans and jackets are splashed with bleach, intricate accessories are drenched in dripping rubber, and jersey separates are freckled with scorched surfaces. This same pyrotechnic sensibility is applied to mottled serveware and ceramic vessels in a range of colors and bizarre shapes.
