Chopova Lowena TOPS

Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena debuted their joint vision while collaborating on a master’s course at Central Saint Martins before founding Chopova Lowena in 2018. The duo’s original folklore-meets-punk streetwear style quickly turned heads, gaining the London-based label a spot as an LVMH Prize finalist by 2020. The brand’s aesthetic incorporates influences from Chopova and Lowena’s respective Bulgarian and English heritages, as seen in the patchworks of patterned deadstock fabrics used in its signature carabiner skirt. In its unexpected hybrids of traditions, textiles, and techniques, Chopova Lowena has found the sweet spot between out-there and daily ready-to-wear.
