During the French revolution, French botanist Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars was exiled to Madagascar and the Mauritius islands; there he discovered a vast array of novel plant species. Two hundred years later, Marie du Petit Thouars launched her line of carefully composed scents in celebration of her ancestor’s botanical legacy. The Los Angeles-based label carries forward the family’s floral tradition with a luxurious line of home fragrances, perfume oils, and scented skincare products.
