Singapore-based STUDIO KALLANG designs mid-century-inspired furniture and objects with a youthful spin. In keeping with her family’s long-standing ties to the local furniture industry, designer Faezah Shaharuddin launched the label in 2021 as a creative outlet for playful experimentation with form and function. Skillfully handcrafted by trained woodworkers in Indonesia, signature pieces include the Onde mirrors, featuring chunky wood-bead frames in a range of fun colors, and the Luna chair constructed in solid teak and Sungkai. Adding new vim to perennial designs, STUDIO KALLANG delivers furniture rich with character and contemporary cachet.
