The SS22 Wales Bonner x Adidas collection draws on research into the music and photography of West Africa in the 1970's, paying homage to the creative energy and expressive style of the era. As a celebration of togetherness and connection, it is effortlessly bold, strong in color, and an ode to self-representation. In honor of this sentiment, we asked Crumb—the lauded NY-based psychedelic band comprised of longtime friends Lila Ramani (guitar, vocals), Jesse Brotter (bass, vocals), Bri Aronow (synth, keyboard, saxophone), and Jonathan Gilad (drums)—to test drive mustard yellow tracksuits and cherry red Sambas on a warm day in Queens. Shot by photographer Philip-Daniel Ducasse and styled by Thistle Brown, the collection shines with versatility and comfort.
