VAQUERA JACKETS for Women
VAQUERA emerged in 2013 and quickly established itself within the New York design scene with a series of playfully camp collections. Self-described as “fashion fan fiction,” the label merges references to pop culture with the avant-garde spark of designers like John Galliano and Martin Margiela. Angora knits are either sculpted or oversized, while bodysuits and puffer jackets are made from a signature black nylon reminiscent of garbage bags. Faux-leather handbags mimic the shape of flute and violin cases, and the label’s iconic teddy bear mascot is coyly displayed on necklaces and keychains. Artistic, tongue-in-cheek, and notably gender-fluid, VAQUERA is a cult favorite among forward-thinking fashion fanatics everywhere.VAQUERA emerged in 2013 and quickly established itself within the New York design scene with a series of playfully camp collections.
