During the French revolution, French botanist Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars was exiled to Madagascar and the Mauritius islands; there he discovered a vast array of novel plant species. Two hundred years later, Marie du Petit Thouars launched her line of carefully composed scents in celebration of her ancestor’s botanical legacy.
