Founded by artist Jane D’Haene, D-HAENE STUDIO offers artful home objects inspired by the natural world and Korean tradition. Emerging from Industry City in Brooklyn, the studio creates minimalist vases with unexpected forms, gradients, and textures. D-HAENE STUDIO’s aesthetic combines the softness of organic components with the visual gravity of the vessels’ globular shapes and strong bases. Each vase is hand-sculpted using wet clay, resulting in unique individual pieces. The moon vase, a reinterpretation of the late eighteenth century Korean moon jar, is elegant holding a floral arrangement or standing on its own as a decorative object. A vessel from D-HAENE STUDIO adds a thoughtful touch to any space, while telling its own story of tradition and craftsmanship.
