Established in 2016 by designer duo Bengt Thornefors and Nina Norgren, the brand takes its name from the couple’s harbor town manor. With a focus on sourcing top-quality fabrics, Magniberg draws inspiration from references as diverse as mid-century modernism, contemporary art, and haute couture. Having teamed up with world-class textile manufacturer Kvadrat in 2019, Thornefors and Norgren have been able to expand their vision by merging Kvadrat’s technical know-how with their creative expertise.
