After its 1994 founding, ACRONYM® became instrumental in the emergence of a new generation of technical apparel. The Munich-based label was started by Michaela Sachenbacher and Errolson Hugh, who shared more than a decade of combined consulting experience for major sportswear brands like Stone Island and Nike ACG. ACRONYM®’s futuristic designs, informed by a spirit of freedom and self-reliance, offer practical utility for the modern urbanite by uniting ergonomic design with an athletic aesthetic. Clean silhouettes with neutral palettes and asymmetrical detailing are cut in high-performance technical materials like GORE-TEX, high-density water-resistant cotton, and industrial-spec twill.
