A study in perfected restraint, Les Tien elevates the concept of minimalism with a line of refined basics. Les Tien—which translates loosely from French as “yours”—crafts luxurious unisex leisure staples out of its factory in downtown Los Angeles. Helmed by designer Courtney Michelle Ogilvie, the loungewear brand treats all fabrics in-house before they are cut and sewn and garment-dyed—a production method that yields a soft hand feel and a coveted level of lived-in comfort. Sweatshirts, joggers, and T-shirts are washed in deeply rich and gently muted colors, reflecting the brand’s understated aesthetic. Oglivie designs for real bodies, guided by the way clothing drapes on bodies in motion rather than sewing room mannequins.
