FIDAN NOVRUZOVA PANTS for Women
Fidan Novruzova launched her namesake label in 2020 with retro-futuristic takes on classic wardrobe staples featuring elements from her Azerbaijani heritage. The Moldova-based brand instills hypermodern design with the sentimentality of traditional craftsmanship. Signature square-toe boots and shoes feature manual creasing and hand-dyed gradients, while crocheted tank tops and wool coats feature sculptural, graphic detailing. Theatrical structures, sharp lines, and geometric shapes clash with romantic draping, conjuring the functional, assertive femininity of Soviet power-dressing and the elusive glamour of late-ʼ70s Azerbaijani starlets.
