To mark the twentieth anniversary of mastermind JAPAN, Masaaki Homma established MASTERMIND WORLD in 2017, catering to his worldwide following. Profoundly impacted by his formative years working for avant-gardist Yohji Yamamoto, the designer continues to experiment with materials and techniques to maintain the singularity of the brand’s premium offerings. The sharp skull-and-crossbones logo is displayed across the label’s meticulously made streetwear, which features a predominantly jet-black palette complemented by punky plaids and the occasional pop of red.
