doublet SHORTS for Women
Designer Masayuki Ino founded Tokyo-based streetwear label doublet in 2012 alongside contemporary artist and patternmaker Takashi Murakami. Recognized for its playful design ethos, the cult-favorite label offers everyday basics with a unique combination of novelty and subversion. The brand’s collections are loaded with bright colors, bold prints, and reinterpreted silhouettes inspired by '80s punk and Ivy League apparel. Ino expresses his sense of humor through a range of graphic T-shirts and jumpsuits, jacquard vests, padded bomber jackets, and accessories adorned with stuffed animal appliqués. Merging elements of pop culture with Eastern and Western aesthetics, doublet takes a distinctively tongue-in-cheek approach to traditional streetwear.Designer Masayuki Ino founded Tokyo-based streetwear label doublet in 2012 alongside contemporary artist and patternmaker Takashi Murakami.
