TASCHEN HOME
Since its 1980 founding in Cologne, luxury book giant TASCHEN has released some of the most coveted publications in the world. Known for its eclectic mix of highbrow and lowbrow topics, the publishing house is on a mission to democratize the art book—producing accessibly priced counterparts to its niche and collectible limited-edition titles on culture and its icons. The carbon-neutral publisher is similarly dedicated to environmentalism, with a mandate to plant a tree for every book created via a partnership with Brazil-based Instituto Terra. Likening its work to that of a cultural archaeologist, TASCHEN transforms subjects that are larger than life into at-hand works of art for the home.Since its 1980 founding in Cologne, luxury book giant TASCHEN has released some of the most coveted publications in the world.
