Paris-based Virón is a sustainable footwear label that is animal, people, and planet friendly. Founded by Mats Rombaut and Julian Romer in 2020, the brand manifests the duo’s mutual desire to advance future-proof fashion through its vegan, PETA-certified footwear collection made almost entirely of recycled or repurposed materials. Contemporary pieces like ’90s rave-inspired combat boots are ethically crafted in novel textiles like the brand’s trademarked AppleSkin—a faux leather made out of waste from Italy’s apple juice industry—and feature a composition breakdown stamped proudly on the exterior.
