With 1TRL, trail hiking outfitter Merrell pairs archival designs with leading edge technology to create a line of high performance footwear. Custom shoe designer Randy Merrell launched his namesake hiking boot brand in 1981. Twenty years later, brand co-founder Clark Matis set the tone for Merrell’s future output with the creation of the Jungle Moc, the revolutionary slip-on trail shoe rendered in a flexible and durable pigskin suede.
