Henry Holland Studio
Henry Holland Studio offers whimsical hand-thrown ceramics designed to enliven the home. After more than 15 years in the fashion industry, designer Henry Holland found respite in the meditative art of pottery, establishing his eponymous label during the height of the pandemic. In an East London studio, the small-scale atelier creates a selection of made-to-order plates, bowls, mugs, sculptural vases, and pitchers. Signature motifs include checkered patterns inspired by mid-century French decor and zebra-like color juxtapositions achieved through nerikomi—a Japanese pottery technique in which multicolored clays are formed into blocks and then shaped into functional objects. Adopting a mindful production practice antithetical to the demands of the fashion world, Henry Holland Studio embraces slow living with its collection of quirky and sustainably made ceramics.
