Y/Project DRESSES for Women on sale
Paris-based Y/Project has become a contemporary ready-to-wear favorite for its archival reference points and its endlessly inventive approach to detailing and construction. Originally founded by Gilles Elalouf and the late French designer Yohan Serfaty in 2010, the label appointed Belgian designer Glenn Martens as creative director in 2013. Martens’s distinct voice has come to define the label’s aesthetic, which straddles the line between the weird and the wonderful with a great level of care. The unisex garments absorb inspirations from niche fashion references like ’90s-era Jean Paul Gaultier designs and reanimate them in experimental, deconstructed silhouettes. Conceptual, energetic, and above all chic, Y/Project’s ready-to-wear brings tailoring excellence to playful self-expression.Paris-based Y/Project has become a contemporary ready-to-wear favorite for its archival reference points and its endlessly inventive approach to detailing and construction.
