South Korean label POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) unites avant-garde sportswear with futuristic outerwear, creating fantastical collections that exist on the outskirts of fashion. Cofounders Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong unleashed PAF in 2018. The “anti-fashion” brand articulates its vision by blurring distinctions between reality and imagination, deconstructing and reassembling garments to make familiar staples unrecognizable. Technical fabrics and intricate paneling are brand signatures, with utilitarian overlays and asymmetric constructions adding to its apocalyptic aesthetic. Shrouded in tones of gray, black, and white, the collection’s experimentally cut nylon trousers and down puffer jackets evoke an eerie and desolate mood.
