Copenhagen-based creative office NIKO JUNE creates collectible homeware with a playful take on Scandinavian simplicity. The studio leads a dual life—part handcrafted homeware atelier, part conceptual exhibition space—yet it’s always experimental. Best known for its upcycled plastic vessels, the studio’s methods involve hands-on, tactile collaboration, encouraging organic nuances unique to each piece. Upcycled water bottles are molded into visceral, translucent forms and sculpted into luminous vessels. One-off ceramic mugs, irreverent glassware, and minimalistic furniture are shaped by a multitude of hands and numbered in order of their production. NIKO JUNE approaches its objets d’art with conceptual intent, sustainable procedures, and an idiosyncratic attitude to produce pieces with lasting quality.
