Bianca Saunders LOUNGE PANTS for Women
London-based designer Bianca Saunders launched her namesake label in 2017, exploring the nuances between tradition and modernity. The first Black British designer to win the ANDAM fashion award, Bianca Saunders creates gender-bending garments with contemporary cross-cultural references inspired by her British and West Indian upbringing. The line features a visual framework that is both familiar and alien, with sharp silhouettes invigorating classic shapes and varied textiles producing carefully considered creasing and rumpling effects. Bianca Saunders’s collection of wardrobe staples—–T-shirts, jackets, trousers, and blazers—–offers a sense of familiarity and connection through its androgynous cuts and subdued color palette.London-based designer Bianca Saunders launched her namesake label in 2017, exploring the nuances between tradition and modernity.
