Yves Salomon BAGS for Women
French furrier Yves Salomon was the heir to a family business with roots in Siberia and the fur trade of early 1900s Saint Petersburg. By the 1960s, the Paris-based atelier was recognized for its refined craftsmanship and collaborations with couture houses including Revillon and Dior. A surge of licensing partnerships in the 1980s brought Yves Salomon to the forefront of the fashion world, with prominent designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Prada, and Yves Saint Laurent commissioning contracts. Today, the womenswear collection upholds its glamorous appeal by introducing new streamlined silhouettes. Luxurious fur trims and linings elevate outerwear staples like parkas and vests, while minimalist trench coats are cut from premium double-face leather.French furrier Yves Salomon was the heir to a family business with roots in Siberia and the fur trade of early 1900s Saint Petersburg.
