RRL T-SHIRTS

Drawing its name from Ralph Lauren’s 16,000-acre Double RL Ranch, RRL revisits classic Americana through Old West-inspired casual workwear. The subset of Ralph Lauren launched in 1993 with a range of outerwear from leather rider jackets to milsurp-derived quilted down overshirts. Flannel shirts in Buffalo plaid and rust red cotton T-shirts round out lighter layers on offer. Particular effort is made to showcase the graphic power of Navajo weaving techniques, with the striking patterns appearing throughout the line’s accessories and wool garments. Similar attention is paid to one of America’s most pervasive contributions to fashion: the denim jacket and jeans, available raw or in a range of tasteful washes. Just as Ralph Lauren has become synonymous with American luxury, RRL too has acquired cult status with devotees to classic American workwear.
