POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) SLIPPERS & LOAFERS for Men
Cofounders Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong launched POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) in 2018. The South Korean menswear label unites avant-garde sportswear with futuristic outerwear, creating a fantastical collection that exists on the fringes of the fashion landscape. An "anti-fashion" brand, PAF articulates its vision by blurring distinctions between reality and imagination, deconstructing and reassembling garments in order to make the familiar foreign. Despite resisting easy classification, PAF is defiantly apocalyptic: technical fabrics, reflective textiles, and transparent PVC materials meet asymmetric constructions, crinkling techniques, and heavy paneling. Pieced together in experimental cuts, nylon trousers and down-filled jackets speak to a dystopian future while fleece hoodies and irregularly pleated jersey T-shirts distort conventional design principles. Shrouded in tones of gray, black, and white, the collection embraces an aesthetic that resonates with the eerie and desolate. Defined by its unique yet calculated design language, PAF exudes dissidence.Cofounders Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong launched POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) in 2018. Read more
