Founded in Antwerp in 2010 by Bob Follens and Giancarlo Angeletti, Vier was initially conceived as a local men’s skateshop. Functioning as a storefront space where iconic streetwear brands could be found alongside high end designer labels, Vier sought to merge the gap between ‘high’ and ‘low’ fashion. Since then, Vier has launched its own in-house ready-to-wear label. Drawing upon its original retail concept and influenced by local underground youth and skate culture, Vier seeks to promote an ethos of inclusivity. Offering quality apparel to an ever-more diversified, fashion-inclined audience, Vier appeals to the young skater as well as to the mature sartorialist. Vier unites classic unisex cuts with contemporary urban sensibilities: women’s t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, football polos, and accessories come emblazoned with the brand’s signature ‘ANTWERP’ logo—an homage to Vier’s hometown and local origins. Unpretentious and straightforward in its aesthetic, Vier offers a direct yet stripped down approach to traditional streetwear design.
