The tradition of tailoring and “le smoking” endures in Pallas, a line devoted to the codes of the tuxedo and the custom-made suit. In 1960, its tailors began fitting jackets and suiting in an atelier in Paris’ 9th arrondissement, developing prototypes for couture and luxury houses. Founder’s son Daniel Pallas took the line over in 1991 with his wife Véronique Bousquet, a former professor of patternmaking; in 2012 they launched a line of women’s tuxedos inspired by their Parisian aesthetic and the strong, elegant women that serve as Pallas’ muses each season. Discreet, sophisticated, and timeless tailored styles are constructed according to a “petite couture” model where each item is handcrafted by a single artisan, then individually numbered and signed. With their rigorous standard of craftsmanship and expert design innovations, Pallas’ tuxedos represent a sensual, modern, and adventurous expression of confidence.
